Am I guaranteed a creator collaboration if I am contacted?
No. A pitch is an opportunity to review. Brand approval, product fit, availability, accepted terms, and later collaboration steps all affect whether it proceeds.
Creator opportunities, clear collaboration records
UGC Bakery manages creator outreach for participating brand engagements, which can give Canadian creators a clearer path to consider relevant gifted or paid collaboration opportunities. A pitch is an invitation to review, not a promise of selection, product, payment, posting, or future work. The brand decides whether to approve an accepted pitch, and the applicable terms govern what happens next.
A tailored pitch should explain the brand and proposed collaboration context well enough for a creator to decide whether to engage. If interested, the creator can accept the pitch terms presented for the opportunity. That acceptance is then available for brand review. It does not automatically mean the brand will approve, that inventory is available, or that fulfilment can proceed.
Opportunities may use barter-first gifting, where product is part of the agreed exchange, or may include a cash pitch or other paid creator term. Standalone UGC production is also different from a collaboration that expects an audience post. Creators should rely on the applicable pitch and accepted record rather than assuming that every opportunity has the same compensation, posting requirement, or rights scope.
For eligible Shopify gift-code collaborations, the creator receives a code and chooses to order through the brand's store. They provide their address directly at checkout. The brand controls product fulfilment, and neither approval nor a sent code is proof of shipment or delivery.
After a verified shipment, the collaboration record could follow tracking into creator submission and partnership confirmation. Quality control would compare submitted work with the accepted context. If changes or additional steps apply, those should come from the collaboration terms and recorded review rather than a blanket assumption about every creator.
A gifted collaboration may involve an audience post, while standalone UGC may focus on delivering an asset to the brand. Those are not interchangeable. Creators should understand whether a post, raw asset, edited asset, or other deliverable is part of the accepted pitch, and whether cash or product is the agreed consideration.
Usage rights are recorded for a specific asset and duration. Partnership-ad access is a separate optional agreement, with its own content, dates, and any extra fee. Participation does not automatically give a brand perpetual, transferable, or sublicensable permission. The applicable accepted record should be used to understand the real scope.
Creator fit depends on the brand, product, proposed work, audience context, availability, and the brand’s approval decision. Selection is not guaranteed. Neither product nor payment is guaranteed before the applicable conditions and terms are met. Published brand service pricing covers managed collaboration capacity and does not set creator compensation; the applicable pitch does. UGC Bakery also cannot promise how often a creator will receive a pitch, whether a pitch will become a collaboration, or whether a completed collaboration will lead to another.
Creators are expected to communicate accurately and complete accepted steps where they choose to participate. A non-delivery or flake sweep can flag stalled collaborations for review. It does not define every remedy; accepted terms govern what happens. For questions about a specific opportunity, contact info@ugcbakery.com.
Useful before you approve
No. A pitch is an opportunity to review. Brand approval, product fit, availability, accepted terms, and later collaboration steps all affect whether it proceeds.
No. Barter-first product gifting is supported, but cash pitches and paid creator work can also exist. The pitch should identify the applicable compensation.
No. Fulfilment depends on the brand, inventory, eligibility, store connection where relevant, and accepted terms. Approval records a decision but is not proof of shipment.
The specific rights record controls. Optional partnership-ad access is agreed separately; rights are not automatically unlimited.
