Is influencer gifting always unpaid?
No. Barter-first gifting may use product under accepted terms, but cash pitches and paid creator work also exist. The applicable pitch should make compensation and expected deliverables clear.
Managed gifting, explicit terms
An influencer gifting agency coordinates the operational work between a brand and creators: tailored outreach, pitch terms, approvals, product-gift tracking, posting follow-up, quality control, and usage-rights records. UGC Bakery uses a barter-first gifting model where appropriate, while recognizing that cash pitches and paid creator work also exist and must be governed by their own accepted terms.
Gifted collaborations generally centre on a creator receiving product under an accepted pitch. That does not make the product, creator participation, post, or commercial outcome automatic. The pitch and recorded terms define what has been discussed, and the brand decides whether to approve the opportunity before fulfilment begins.
Paid creator work introduces a cash pitch or other compensation term in addition to, or instead of, product. It should not be described as free-product-only work. Standalone UGC production can also be commissioned for asset creation without relying on a creator’s audience post. UGC Bakery keeps those arrangements distinct so a brand can understand whether it is reviewing a gifted posting collaboration, a paid collaboration, or a content-production requirement.
Our team handles the agreed creator conversations, while the brand reviews each creator and their terms. For eligible Shopify gift-code collaborations, the creator receives a code and chooses to place the order. The brand controls fulfilment and product availability. A sent code is not proof of creator acceptance, ordering, or shipment.
A creator submission and partnership confirmation lead into quality control. The submitted work is checked against the accepted collaboration context, then the relevant asset can receive a specific, time-bounded rights record. Partnership-ad access is a separate optional agreement, with its own content, dates, and any extra fee. The workflow avoids treating a social message, shipment, or draft as proof of a completed post or unrestricted usage permission.
Creator outreach is human. A creator may not reply, may decline, may be unsuitable after review, or may fail to complete an accepted collaboration. UGC Bakery maintains a non-delivery or flake sweep so stalled work can be identified, but any replacement or other remedy is determined only by the terms of the engagement. There is no universal response that applies to every collaboration.
Shipment timing, creator schedules, brand review, revisions, and platform behaviour can also change the calendar. Managing those steps creates visibility and a consistent record, but it cannot promise a post date, reach, engagement, conversion, revenue, or return on product cost. Brands should evaluate gifting as a managed collaboration channel whose outcomes still depend on creators, products, and audiences.
UGC Bakery’s published plans use creator capacity per billing month. The first five collaborations are free for every new brand, followed by annual monthly-equivalent pricing of $3 per creator or month-to-month pricing of $3.60 per creator. Starter, Growth, and Scale package those rates at different capacities; Enterprise is negotiated.
Capacity is the amount of managed collaboration workflow available, not a promised number of creator replies, approvals, shipments, posts, or completed assets. Start free opens brand account sign-in. For a custom campaign inquiry, contact info@ugcbakery.com; an inquiry does not establish service terms or reserve creator capacity.
Useful before you approve

Not by itself. Posting depends on the accepted pitch terms and creator participation. Product shipment is an operational milestone, not proof that a post or business result will follow.
The brand reviews each creator and the applicable terms, then approves or passes. Eligible Shopify gift codes follow approval. The creator still chooses to order; neither an approval nor an email proves product was shipped.
Rights are specific and time-bounded. Optional partnership-ad access is agreed separately; the actual asset, duration, and permitted scope come from the applicable record.
