Who ships products to creators?
The brand ships the product. For eligible Shopify gift-code collaborations, the creator chooses to place an order using their code and supplies their address at checkout. Approval alone does not create a shipment.
Product out, accountability in
A product seeding agency helps brands organize which creators may receive product, why each shipment is being considered, and what happens after it leaves the warehouse. UGC Bakery manages the agreed outreach and collaboration record while the brand controls product fulfilment. Sending a product does not guarantee posting, content, timing, reach, or sales.
Useful product seeding begins with a tailored pitch, not a bulk mailing list. A creator acceptance records interest and relevant terms, then the brand reviews the opportunity. Approval means the brand has chosen to move forward under that context; it does not erase product restrictions, inventory limits, creator availability, or the conditions attached to the pitch.
This operating model is for ecommerce teams that want to reduce disconnected outreach and make each potential shipment traceable to a creator conversation. UGC Bakery manages the agreed pitch and follow-up workflow. The brand controls product fulfilment, decides what can be sent, and remains responsible for product suitability and store operations.
For eligible Shopify gift-code collaborations, an approved creator receives a code for the selected product. They place their own order and provide their delivery details directly at checkout. The brand controls inventory and fulfilment. No delivery address needs to be sent to UGC Bakery just to approve the creator.
A connected store makes the operational handoff more traceable, but it does not force inventory to exist, a carrier to meet a date, or a creator to complete the collaboration. Brands should maintain normal product and fulfilment controls. Where Shopify gifting is unavailable or unsuitable, the applicable service terms and brand process determine whether another fulfilment route is possible.
Product seeding is often used for a gifted posting collaboration, but a shipment alone is not a posting agreement. The accepted pitch should identify the collaboration context. Standalone UGC production is different: a brand may commission an asset without an audience post, potentially through paid creator work or another agreed structure.
When work is submitted, partnership confirmation and quality control establish what was actually received. Usage rights are then recorded for a specific asset and duration. Partnership-ad access is a separate optional agreement, with its own content, dates, and any extra fee. No perpetual, transferable, or broad advertising right should be inferred merely because product was sent.
UGC Bakery maintains a non-delivery or flake sweep to surface stalled collaborations. That can help distinguish an unanswered thread, an unshipped approval, an in-transit product, and a creator who has not completed the accepted next step. It does not create an automatic replacement or predetermined remedy; accepted engagement terms govern what happens next.
Published plans describe managed creator capacity, with the first five collaborations free for every new brand and paid CAD options explained on the pricing page. Capacity is not a delivered-post count. Creator response, brand decisions, stock, fulfilment, shipment timing, submission, posting, and performance are variable, so product seeding should be evaluated through accurate operational records rather than outcome promises.
Useful before you approve

No. A shipment is not proof of posting. Creator participation, accepted terms, product delivery, and later collaboration steps all affect whether work is completed.
Yes. Cash pitches and paid creator work can exist alongside barter-first gifting. Compensation and deliverables must be distinguished in the accepted terms.
Rights depend on the specific content, dates, and uses agreed with the creator. Sending product alone does not grant ad access. Partnership-ad permission is a separate optional agreement and may carry an extra fee.
